Creative Balance Photography | FAQ

1. How many pictures do you take?  How many pictures will I receive?

  • Our goal is to satisfy our clients and capture their memories forever. We believe each client is unique and we strive to give them the photo's that they've only dreamed about. Therefore, our focus is not on the number of pictures that we take but on the experience and quality of the pictures.

  • The number of pictures that our clients receive are based on the packages that are available.  We believe that no clients are the same- so each package is tailored to suit the needs of our clients.  Have something in mind?  Email us and we would love to talk with you about it!

2. Can we take the pictures and make copies?

  • Print releases come with the purchased pictures in a package.  However, if you find that you want more pictures, digital images can be purchased individually or purchase all the remaining photos at a discounted price.  (*The print release will only be given to the client and only for those prints purchased.)

3. What should I bring?

  • Go to Pinterest or other websites before the session.  Find a few pictures that you like and print them out and bring them to the session. If you have any planned pictures that you want to take (such as photos with props) just let me know in advance.

For ideas, Look at my pintrest page for kids, families, couples, weddings, maternity, portraits, and newborns. If you see any you like, please remember to print them out and bring them to the session.  (Please Note: Not all of the pictures that I have pinned have been photographed by Creative Balance Photography. Therefore, I may or may not have the prop that you see in the picture. If you see a picture you love that has a prop, please just let me know several weeks in advance.)

  • For kids, we need your help!  We love to see them laughing and having fun.  If there are any videos, songs, toys, etc. that you know may help, bring those along for the session!

  • If you have any props that are "them" or "y'all" bring those. Like a favorite toy or book. Favorite sport that the family plays, etc.

  • If you are interested in a styled shoot, please contact us and we will set up a consultation.

4. Where do you think we should take pictures?

  • It's really up to you. Think about what type of "theme" you prefer; rustic, urban, playful, serene...venues vary and can really help to set the mood or tone of your photos.  Our aim is for you or your family to be comfortable and relaxed so that we can capture you at your best!

  • Note: Creative Balance Photography will not trespass on private property. Shoot location must be on Public Property or Client must have permission to be on Private Property. It is the responsibility of the Client to make any appointments or necessary arrangements for a Location.

  • Cash is the preferred method, but we also except Paypal (fee applied) , Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

10. What time should I book my session?

  • All photographers love the Golden Hour. The Golden Hour happens twice a day: in the morning, within the first hour of the sun rising, and in the evening: the hour before the sun sets.  It produces the best lighting for awesome pictures.  You can easily find your local sunrise and sunset times with this website. Once you have calculated what time the sun will rise/set, know that the hour before the sun sets, and the hour after the sun rises, will be your key time.
